Discover authentic Tai Lue village life in one of Northern Laos' oldest living communities. This sustainable,

community-based homestay experience offers hands-on cultural immersion just outside UNESCO World Heritage Luang Prabang — far from the well-worn tourist trail.

Day 1:

(Arrival): Upon arrival at Luang Prabang International Airport or Luang Prabang Railway Station, you will be met by our local staff and transferred to our Home Base, where comfortable simplicity meets nature. Set within one of Luang Prabang's expansive gardens, managed with ecological and environmental respect, this peaceful retreat is where you will meet fellow travellers and settle in ahead of your onward journey into the village.

Day 2:

 (Transfer & Welcome): Morning: Depart for Tai Lue Homestay & Arts in the 1,000-year-old village of Ban Nayangtai. Welcome Ceremony: be welcomed into the community with a traditional Baci ceremony, a heartfelt Lao ritual of blessing and connection. Afternoon: guided village tour covering Tai Lue history and living traditions, followed by a traditional Tai Lue lunch prepared by local villagers, then a hands-on weaving and natural indigo dyeing workshop led by the village's master weavers. Evening: traditional Tai Lue dinner accompanied by a cultural performance of local music and dance.

Day 3:

  (Nature, Farming & Handicrafts): Morning: visit nearby farms to learn traditional Lao agricultural practices, followed by a guided nature walk through the village surroundings. Afternoon: lunch in the village, followed by a hands-on handicraft workshop creating traditional Tai Lue items. Evening: unwind with a traditional herbal sauna before joining villagers for a communal dinner.

Day 4:

 (Farewell & Departure): Morning: farewell Baci ceremony, followed by a hearty breakfast with your host village. Afternoon: free time to explore the village or browse locally made handicrafts before departing Ban Nayangtai for Luang Prabang.
