Join a meaningful, short-term volunteer teaching placement in Luang Prabang — a fully supported, ethical voluntourism programme combining cultural immersion, orientation, and hands-on classroom experience in a local city school

Schedule for each program:

Day 1      Friday           Arrive into Luang prabang and get to the accommodation

 

Day 2     Saturday       Orientation and project briefing, Lao language lesson, health and safety tips, lunch, half-day city

                                        tour,cultural performance and dinner

 

Day 3       Sunday           Alms-giving ceremony with Buddhist monks, guided local morning market tour, orientation on                                                   cultural do's and don'ts, evening at the Sunday Walking Street

 

Day 4       Monday        Start the volunteer project

 

Day 5      Tuesday        At project site

 

Day 6      Wednesday   At project site

 

Day 7        Thursday      At project site

 

Day 8      Friday           Last day at project site

The volunteer project itself runs Monday to Friday, with additional cultural and adventure activities available before, or after your placement.

A percentage of each placement fee is donated directly to the host school to fund scholarships and teaching materials [exact percentage/amount to be confirmed].
